Responsibilities:
- Assist with event preparation by helping create name badges, assemble event packets, print signage, and organize materials in advance
- Support the Events & Engagement Manager in outreach to local businesses to request donated auction items
- Help with on-site setup and cleanup during events, including arranging chairs, setting up tables, and making sure spaces are tidy
- Act as an extra set of hands wherever needed to ensure events run smoothly
- Detail-oriented and organized, especially when working on name tags, packets, or auction lists
- Comfortable reaching out to businesses via phone, email, or in person (with guidance provided)
- Willingness to help with physical event setup, preferably able to lift and move chairs and tables
- Flexible, team-player mindset
- Training Provided: Orientation with SVT staff on event logistics and outreach best practices
- Hours: Varies by event, anywhere from 3-6 hours prepping materials the week before to 2-4 hours to help setup day of an event
- Duration: Ongoing as needed
- Location: Event dependent, but primarily at Wolbach Farm in Sudbury
- Reports to: Events & Engagement Manager

Description
Sudbury Valley Trustees (SVT) is a regional land trust, founded in 1953. SVT is dedicated to conserving land and protecting wildlife habitat in the Concord, Assabet and Sudbury river basin. This is one of the most scenic, culturally rich, and historically significant regions in the United States. Today, approximately 3,100 members support SVT’s work in 36 different towns in the watershed.
SVT is responsible for the protection and care of diverse conservation lands that include wetlands, sensitive habitats, trails and other open spaces including major sanctuaries. SVT reservations are open to the public free of charge, and include trails for walking, bird watching, cross-country skiing and horseback riding.
