Thanks for your interest! This opportunity calls for volunteers to make weekly phone calls (when it is convenient for you) to isolated homebound older adults who's native language is not English. At the present time we are looking specifically for Italian and Greek, but we get new clients weekly and some other languages that are common for us are Mandarin, Cantonese, Bengali, Korean, Japanese, Spanish, Tagalog and and many others,

Services Now for Adult Persons, Inc. has accepted the challenge of being dedicated to the needs of older adults. SNAP provides direct services to enhance their quality of life. We also provide coordination of case plans, advocacy and linkages to community resources to assist our clients and to prevent premature institutionalization
Description
Services Now for Adult Persons Volunteer program is two-fold.
1. We help active senior citizens find volunteer opportunities in the community.
2. We recruit any age volunteers to assist homebound and more frail senior citizens in their every day needs. From just having tea and chatting to shoveling snow, all volunteers are so welcome and so appreciated.
