Rainbow City Performing Arts (RCPA) isn’t just about music - we’re about building a world where everyone belongs. Through the power of joyful performances, we celebrate LGBTQIA+ diversity, amplify underrepresented voices, and bring communities together. But creating this impact requires resources, creativity, and collective effort, which is where our Fundraising Committee shines.

This dynamic team is the driving force behind the events, campaigns, and connections that sustain our mission. By joining, you’ll be at the heart of creating opportunities for inclusive artistic expression, fostering community engagement, and securing the funding that brings our ensembles and programs to life.

What You’ll Do

  • Plan and execute unique, inclusive events that connect with and energize the community.

  • Collaborate on bold and impactful fundraising campaigns to support RCPA’s programs.

  • Build and nourish relationships with donors, sponsors, and partners who share our values.

  • Use storytelling and creative problem-solving to design campaigns that resonate and inspire support.

Why Join Us?

  • Your creativity and professional expertise will have a direct, meaningful impact within the LGBTQIA+ community.

  • You’ll gain valuable nonprofit development experience while collaborating with a passionate, like-minded team.

  • Be part of the exciting behind-the-scenes work that transforms ideas into tangible change and fuels expression for those whose voices need to be heard.

  • You’ll also be at the center of planning some of the most joyous, inclusive, and memorable events in Seattle!

Who You Are

  • Have experience in fundraising, nonprofit development, event planning, or marketing.

  • Are excited about creating campaigns that inspire and drive action.

  • Find joy in networking, building relationships, and turning connections into opportunities for community impact.

  • Believe in the power of music and the arts to drive social change and foster belonging.

  • Love working collaboratively to brainstorm fresh, innovative ideas.

Commitment and Location

  • We meet quarterly to brainstorm, strategize, and plan together. You’ll also have opportunities to participate in or lead events and campaigns throughout the year.

  • We offer a hybrid structure with virtual meetings and some in-person involvement at our events and activities in Seattle, WA.

The Impact You’ll Make

Every idea you pitch, event you plan, and connection you foster will directly support our mission of lifting underrepresented voices and celebrating diversity through the arts. Together, we’ll create a stronger, more inclusive community where people can express themselves through music and performance while feeling valued and supported.

Join the Fundraising Committee at Rainbow City Performing Arts and help us make music, art, and community more accessible, inclusive, and equitable for all.
