Rainbow City Performing Arts (RCPA) is more than a performing arts organization. We’re a force for inclusion, using music to celebrate LGBTQIA+ diversity, amplify marginalized voices, and create spaces where everyone feels seen and valued. At the heart of our mission lies the work of ensuring sustainability and transparency in every decision we make. That’s where the Finance Committee makes an invaluable impact.
This committee ensures that our resources are managed responsibly, enabling us to expand our ensembles, host powerful performances, and provide safe, creative spaces for the LGBTQIA+ community. Join us to help guide the financial health of an organization that transforms lives through music and advocacy.

Commitment and Location
We meet monthly, usually the last Tuesday of the month at 6 PM. Occasional additional involvement may be required for budget preparations or financial strategy discussions.
Hybrid participation is available, with virtual meetings and optional in-person activities at our office or events in Seattle, WA.
The Impact You’ll Make
When you join the Finance Committee, you’re not just balancing books or reviewing budgets. You’re ensuring that every note played, every concert held, and every musician welcomed is supported by sound financial stewardship. Your work will pave the way for equitable and resilient growth, enabling Rainbow City to continue its legacy of empowering communities through music.
At RCPA, we believe in the power of accountability and collaboration to create lasting change.
