Do you play an instrument or love to sing? Use your musical talent to bring peace, comfort, and joy to patients receiving hospice care.

Bristol Hospice San Antonio is looking for Music Volunteers to share live music at bedside of patients in their home or care facilities. Even a few quiet notes can lift spirits, evoke precious memories, and provide a sense of calm during a sacred time of life.

As a Music Volunteer, you will:

  • Provide live music to hospice patients
  • Create peaceful and meaningful experiences through song
  • Offer comfort to patients and families through your time and presence

Whether you play the guitar, piano, violin, or simply love to sing - your gift can make a real difference!

About Bristol Hospice San Antonio

Location:

1100 Northwest Loop 410, Suite 290, San Antonio, TX 78213, US

Mission Statement

Bristol Hospice San Antonio is graciously committed to our mission that all patients and families entrusted to our care will be treated with the highest level of compassion, respect, and quality of care.

Description

Bristol Hospice San Antonio provides hospice services to meet the physical, psycho-social, and spiritual needs of individuals at the end of life. We focus on an individualized plan of care which may include, as appropriate, the following services: nursing, physicians, hospice aides, spiritual support, therapy, dietary, counseling, volunteers, durable medical equipment, supplies, bereavement services and medications related to terminal illness.

Volunteers are an important part of the hospice model. Volunteers provide special compassionate presence and support to our patients and family in ways that only a volunteer can. When a volunteer visits a patient, they are visiting the patient because they want to be there. It's not a job or an obligation. That is a powerful action for our patients and families!
