Volunteer Opportunity: Mentor for Executive Functioning Support

Do you have a big heart, a love for working with teens, and the patience to guide students who need a little extra support?

We’re looking for a caring volunteer to join our high school woodshop classroom, helping students strengthen their executive functioning skills-like planning, staying organized, managing time, and following through. You'll work alongside the teacher, offering encouragement and one-on-one support in a hands-on learning environment.

Our students come from underrepresented backgrounds and thrive with adults who bring kindness, consistency, and genuine care.

No woodshop experience needed-just compassion and a desire to make a difference.

Flexible schedule-come once a week or as often as you can. Your presence matters.
