Key Responsibilities and Duties:
Instruction:
- Teaching students fundamental art techniques like drawing, painting, sculpting, and printmaking.
Curriculum Development:
- Creating and implementing lesson plans aligned with educational standards and school guidelines.
Assessment:
- Evaluating student work, providing feedback, and tracking progress.
Art History:
- Teaching students about art history, different artistic periods, and famous artists.
Studio Management:
- Preparing the classroom, organizing art materials, and maintaining a safe and clean environment.
Collaboration:
- Working with other teachers and staff to integrate art into the curriculum and participate in school events.
Student Support:
- Providing guidance and individualized instruction to students with varying artistic abilities and needs.
Staying Current:
