African Angels School, a haven of quality primary education nestled in the safe and welcoming coastal community of Chintsa East, Eastern Cape, South Africa, is seeking a passionate and experienced English as a Second Language (ESL) teacher to join us as a volunteer.
About African Angels School:

The Opportunity:
We are seeking a dedicated volunteer to share their expertise and passion for the English language by teaching English as a Second Language to our primary school students. This is an incredible opportunity to:

We Are Looking For a Volunteer With:
- Proven experience teaching English as a Second Language.
- A strong understanding of ESL methodologies and engaging teaching techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient and empathetic approach.
- A genuine passion for teaching and working with children.
- The ability to create fun, interactive, and effective ESL lessons for primary school students.
- Cultural sensitivity and a willingness to learn about and respect the local context.
Accommodation
During the week you'll have your own room in our hostel.
On weekends there are a variety of different accommodation options for you to choose from.

African Angels provides a quality primary school education by exceptional teachers for children who will innovate, and be the hope for our future at the African Angels Primary School. African Angels educates children who have limited resources and live in situations that are unimaginable to most of us, yet they are determined to grow into educated, productive and responsible citizens.
Many of the students who have graduated from African Angels have been accepted into, and attend, some of the most prestigious high schools in the country like the Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy for Girls in Johannesburg. They have qualified for bursaries that allow them to access incredible educational opportunities and break the cycle of poverty they were born into.
Our goal as an organisation is to be authentic partners and collaborators with the community we serve, so that real change is driven and owned by the community.
