Higher Foundation is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Social Media Coordinator to help plan, design, and manage content for upcoming events and community initiatives. This role is crucial in strengthening our engagement with The Higher Community through innovative digital design and strategic communication. The applicant will be managing pre-created content, using the content planner to smoothly schedule posts and keep everything organized.

Responsibilities:
- Design and schedule digital and print marketing materials for events and campaigns using Canva
- Develop and implement content plans to ensure consistent branding across all social platforms
- Utilize Mailchimp to create and manage email campaigns that drive engagement and participation

Qualifications:
-1 year of experience in Graphic Design or Digital Content Creation
- Experience with Canva for design and content planning
- Familiarity with Typography, Color Theory & Branding
- Knowledge of Mailchimp for email marketing preferred
- A degree in Graphic Design is a plus but not required

The Higher Foundation promotes post-secondary education by providing financial assistance to Georgia college students. We help Collegiate Georgians secure their basic needs with our need-based grants and merit-based scholarships. Since May 2018, we have served over 1,000 Georgia college students and awarded nearly $40,000 in grants & scholarships. With our services, we aim to help Georgia college students overcome basic needs insecurity, so they can go higher in their education and career.
