Women Empowered International (WEI) is a global nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering women and girls through entrepreneurship, workforce training, mentoring, and access to resources. Our mission is to improve lives and promote the rights of women and children worldwide.
Position SummaryThe Volunteer Executive Assistant will provide high-level administrative support to the Executive Director and leadership team. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, proactive, and passionate about supporting a mission-driven organization. The Executive Assistant will help ensure smooth day-to-day operations and contribute to the overall effectiveness of WEI’s leadership.
Key Responsibilities- Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate virtual events.
- Prepare agendas, take meeting minutes, and follow up on action items.
- Assist with email correspondence, document preparation, and file organization.
- Support internal communications and coordination across departments.
- Conduct research and compile information for reports and presentations.
- Help maintain organizational systems and databases.
- Provide general administrative support as needed.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Proficiency with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Calendar, Drive) and Zoom.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Passion for women’s empowerment and global development.
- Previous experience as an executive or administrative assistant.
- Familiarity with nonprofit operations or international organizations.
- Gain hands-on experience in nonprofit leadership and operations.
- Flexible, remote work environment.
