About NATIVE AMERICAN MADE

Location:

231 W Vernon Avenue, Suite 103, Rm 2, Los Angeles, CA 90037, US

Mission Statement

Our Mission is to engage native youth to help save our indigenous population by informing, inspiring, and leading their tribal families, elders and non-native Americans with self-care literacy. Together, through inspiring our youth for purpose-driven medical career opportunities, let us rediscover the true heritage and warrior spirit of the Native American People as taught by our elders, empower self-reliance with individual life-style/dietary change to insure preventive health measures, and embrace new life-saving modern digital health technologies now available. Today, community urgency is needed to save our indigenous population.

Description

Into this new Era, our collaborators begin with individuals from the native and non-native communities that embrace the native culture of spirituality in health & wellness, education, recreation, and new technology.

Native American People suffer from the highest per capita population percentages in multiple chronic illnesses. Chronic Illnesses led by hypertension has resulted in our early mortality through coronary disease, diabetes, sepsis, and heart failure. These Chronic Illnesses have and continue to threaten our population.

Health issues have been exacerbated by numerous years of government subsidized foods. Our subsequent dependency has resulted in a chronically worsening diet affecting us physically, emotionally and mentally.

Today, Urgency is needed.

There is a resurgence in awareness by our youth and tribal leaders who support, listen and agree with a new path. This new path is now evidenced in some of our current unique programs that touch our spiritual, physical, and mental health. These programs are the beginning of many more initiated to reconnect and restore the lost identity and personal dignity to our first people and be an inspiration to all American people.
