Volunteer Position: Marketing & Communications (Remote)

Organization: Quantum Risk Analytics
Location: Fully Remote
Commitment: Minimum of 12 hours/week (flexible)
Compensation: Unpaid (Volunteer)
Start Date: Rolling basis

Are you passionate about using your marketing skills to make a real impact? Would you like to be part of an innovative, mission-driven team working on projects that help humanity-such as our free COVID-19 Risk Assessment tool?

We’re looking for Marketing & Communications Volunteers to support our growing organization. This is a unique opportunity to apply your talent to a meaningful cause while gaining hands-on experience in a startup-style nonprofit environment.

Responsibilities
  • Develop & implement digital marketing campaigns

  • Manage and grow social media platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.)

  • Assist with brand awareness, partnerships, and public communications

  • Design marketing materials and graphics

  • Lead or support marketing sub-teams

  • Conduct market research and analyze trends

  • Coordinate online events and engagement strategies

  • Create surveys and tools to assess audience feedback

Preferred Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in marketing, communications, or a related area

  • Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field (Bachelor’s or Master’s preferred)

  • Prior leadership experience is a plus

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Knowledge of consumer psychology and user engagement strategies

  • Strong organizational and time management skills

  • Experience with Google Ads Grants or paid media campaigns (preferred)

  • Self-starter mindset: able to work remotely, independently, and collaboratively

  • Passionate about social impact, public health, or innovation in nonprofits
