Are you passionate about leveraging social media to drive social change? Join Treedom for Palestine, a nonprofit organization dedicated to planting olive trees in the West Bank to promote food security, gender equality, and peacebuilding in one of the world’s most challenging regions.

We are looking for a creative Social Media Manager with experience to expand our online presence and engage our growing community of supporters. This is an exciting opportunity to make a tangible impact by sharing compelling stories about the resilience of Palestinian farmers and the transformative power of olive trees.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop a Social Media plan and posts for Tiktok, Instagram, Threads and FB: Create and implement a content calendar to align with Treedom for Palestine's mission and goals.
  • Content Creation: Craft posts (text, graphics, and videos) to highlight Freedom Farms, farmer profiles, and organizational milestones.
  • Grow our online community
  • Analytics and Reporting: Monitor and analyze social media performance

Mission Statement

Treedom for Palestine cultivates prosperity for vulnerable Palestinian farmers by planting sustainable "Freedom Farms" across the West Bank.

Description

Treedom's core initiative, "Freedom Farms," involves planting olive tree farms across the West Bank to foster economic independence, food security, and gender equality. Each farm comprises 250 olive trees, providing farmers and their communities with a sustainable source of income while promoting environmental stewardship. Half our farms are planted for female farmers.
