Regency Hospice, located in Hiawassee, GA has Volunteer Opportunities available in Hiawassee and the surrounding counties.
Description: Volunteers can sit with patients in their home to provide caregiver relief, companionship, such as reading, talking, writing letters, crafts, playing cards, etc. You can also provide pet therapy, phone calls, bereavement support, or even volunteer with the veterans. We also have Administrative Volunteer opportunities here in the office.
All Volunteers must be able to pass a drug screen, a criminal background check, and TB testing.

Description
There are different ways to serve the families. We have a Flower program in which we prepare bouquets’
and deliver to the families. Administrative work in the office, which includes answering phones, filing
paperwork, preparing supplies for the staff to deliver to the homes. Direct care, which includes
NON Hands on Opportunities to sit with the patients to offer companionship to the patient and
