Loops for Smiles is a student-founded, volunteer-powered nonprofit dedicated to spreading kindness, comfort, and hope through the creation and donation of handmade items to individuals and families facing difficult times.

We are seeking volunteers of all skill levels to help craft hats, blankets, baby items, and other thoughtful pieces that offer comfort and connection to those in need. Whether you are an experienced maker or simply eager to learn, you are welcome to join our community of compassionate creators.

By giving just a little of your time and creativity, you can help bring warmth and joy to someone’s life. Together, we believe in the power of small, intentional acts to inspire lasting impact-spreading smiles one stitch at a time.

Description

Loops for Smiles is a student-founded, volunteer-powered nonprofit based in College Station, Texas, serving communities throughout Texas from the Brazos Valley, Montgomery County, and beyond. We are dedicated to spreading kindness and comfort through the creation and donation of handmade items.

Our volunteers craft a variety of thoughtful pieces-crocheted, knitted, sewn, or otherwise handmade-such as hats, blankets, baby items, and more, all designed to brighten the lives of individuals and families facing difficult circumstances. Whether you're an experienced maker or just starting out, everyone is welcome in our growing community. Together, we believe in the power of small, intentional acts to inspire connection, compassion, and lasting impact-spreading smiles one handmade gift at a time.
