Rosener House Musical Activity leader

ORGANIZATION: Peninsula Volunteers Inc.

Do you believe in the power of music? PVI believes that music improves the quality of life for our seniors. We are currently seeking musicians age 16 years or older to lead musical activities at Rosener House. This activity is fun and engaging!

Must make a weekly commitment to at least one of the following slots:

Mondays:11:15a-11:45a or 1:15p-1:45p

Tuesdays: 11:15a-11:45a or 1:15p-1:45p

Thursday:1:15p-1:45p

Friday:11:15a-11:45a or 1:15p-1:45p

Music activity follows the following pattern:

A welcome song

Sing-Along

Guess that song

Encourage instrument playing (shaking bells, beating drums, etc..)

Choose music from list provided by PVI.

PVI's mission to enable seniors to age in place.

Description

Peninsula Volunteers, Inc. has provided service since 1947 and has led the nation in developing programs and properties to support the welfare of the senior members of the community.

We prepare and deliver over 1000 nutritious meals every week to the homebound through Meals on Wheels , and touch over 4500 households through our programs at The Little House, Roslyn G. Morris Activity Center , Rosener House Adult Day Services , and Crane Place and Partridge-Kennedy Apts., low cost housing.
