HELP SAVE AMERICA!
Convention of States-Action (COSA) PA is seeking patriotic and dedicated citizens with backgrounds in a variety of areas to include, but not limited to; administrative/office management, communications including content writing, media and video development, personnal staffing to conduct interviews, provide follow up on potential volunteers, etc., managerial and/or supervisory/leader experience to provide leadership to teams performing outreach to various groups i.e., veterans, patriotic, fraternal, and civic organizations. While most of these are remote positions, some of these volunteer opportunities will require the volunteers to develop relationships with various groups and ultimately cultivate a partnership between said organization and COSA.
The Convention of States is a nonprofit, nonpartisan, nationwide grassroots movement. ITS MISSION IS TO BUILD AN ENGAGED ARMY OF SELF-GOVERNING GRASSROOTS ACTIVISTS. Activists who will step up to the challenges our nation faces at the local, state, and national levels of government. The goal of COSA is to influence state legislatures to pass a resolution that calls for a Convention of States to propose amendments to the Constitution.
These amendments are concerned with 1) limiting the terms of Congress and unelected bureaucrats, 2) imosing fiscal constraiints on Congress and getting back to a balanced budget, and 3) constrain the Federal goverment overreach and give the states back their sovereignty. When the Founding Fathers framed our Constritution, those in the Convenntion voted unanimously to provide the states a method whereby, if and when, in the opnion of its citizens, the Federal government became tyrannical; state legislatures could gather and propose amendments to the Constitution through Article V, Convention of (the) States.
To call a convention requires 34 state legislatures pass the resolution. Currently 19 states have passed it; however, Pennsylvania is not among those 19. Given that our state was the birthplace of the Constitution and with our historical heritage; not passing this resolution is a "stain" on the Commonwealth, our legislature, and the citizens of Pennsylvania.
Even though it may appear "the tide is turnng", Executive Orders are temporary and can be undone with the swipe of a pen. Article V gives the mechanism for permanent change.

Mission Statement
WHY CALL AN ARTICLE V CONVENTION? Simple: to bring power back to the states and the people, where it belongs. Unelected bureaucrats in Washington, D.C. shouldn’t be allowed to make sweeping decisions that impact millions of Americans. But right now, they do. So it all boils down to one question: Who do you think should decide what’s best for you and your family? You, or the feds? We’d vote for the American people every single time. WHAT IS AN ARTICLE V CONVENTION ANYWAY? Article V of the U.S. Constitution gives states the power to call a convention to propose amendments. It takes 34 states to call the convention and 38 to ratify any amendments that are proposed. Our convention would only allow the states to discuss amendments that, "limit the power and jurisdiction of the federal government, impose fiscal restraints, and place term limits on federal officials."
