Restoration Diversion Services (RDS), a human trafficking drop-in center located in the heart of Compton, is seeking compassionate, committed volunteer Aftercare Case Managers to support survivors of human trafficking as they transition out of exploitation and begin building stable, independent lives. This role focuses on trauma-informed, survivor-centered case management-providing vital support in areas such as housing, mental health, education, and especially employment readiness and placement assistance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct intake and assessment meetings to evaluate client needs, strengths, and goals post-exploitation.
  • Develop personalized aftercare plans focused on stability, self-sufficiency, and long-term healing.
  • Assist survivors in preparing for and obtaining employment through:
    • Resume and cover letter support
    • Job search guidance
    • Interview preparation and coaching
    • Coordination with workforce development programs and local employers
  • Connect clients to wraparound services such as:
    • Transitional or long-term housing
    • Mental health counseling
    • Substance use recovery services
    • Legal advocacy and CalVCB assistance
  • Provide encouragement, empowerment, and consistent follow-up to ensure progress and address setbacks.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential case documentation in alignment with organizational policies.
  • Attend case management check-ins and volunteer meetings as scheduled.
