Volunteer United/AmeriCorps Seniors Program is a program of United Way that recruits volunteers for non-profit agencies in Martin County.
The mission of the organization where this opportunity is located is to meet the physical and spiritual needs of the homeless and indigent.
Mid-day volunteers are needed to support a hygiene cottage with light tasks.
Requirements are:
*Weekly commitment every Tuesday 11am - 1:30pm.
*Orientation and training.
*Length of time varies depending on tasks to be completed.
*Tasks include: folding laundry, lightly cleaning showers and toilets, sweeping/mopping.
*Bending, Stretching, light lifting.
No clients are on site at this time.
