Easterseals Colorado is looking for compassionate, energetic, and dependable volunteers to join us for Camp Leadership Week, one of our summer programs’ most meaningful and exciting weeks. This opportunity is perfect for individuals age 18+ who want to support children and adults with disabilities while enjoying outdoor adventures and community. We especially encourage female volunteers to sign up to support female campers.
As a volunteer camp counselor, you’ll be paired with campers, assist with personal care (hygiene, bathing, dressing) as needed, and help ensure they participate fully in camp activities (arts and crafts, fishing, swimming, hiking, zip lining, and more)! You’ll be supported by experienced, trained counselors and receive a two-hour break each day.
Details:
- Arrive Sunday, July 6 at 10 am for orientation, a quick tour, to get settled, and meet the counselors
- 2 hours break time offered each day
- Full overnight participation required (shared cabin lodging provided)
