ABOUT THE VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY

Hostelling International NYC is looking for a volunteer to create and lead a West Harlem Pub Tour! These tours give international travelers a chance to experience the neighborhood’s vibrant nightlife, explore its rich cultural history, and connect with fellow guests in a fun, social setting.

As the pub tour volunteer, your role will be to guide guests to a few local bars, share stories and background about the neighborhood, and help spark conversations about culture, history, and community life in Harlem. Whether highlighting Harlem’s jazz legacy, bar scene, or the history of the cherised and diverse small businesses.

This is a great opportunity for locals who love Harlem, enjoy meeting new people, and want to showcase the neighborhood’s unique spirit through its bars, lounges, and restaurants.
