Love gardening and working with kids? Volunteer during our Garden Programs and help children and their families explore nature while learning about plants and the environment. Join us to make a positive impact and have fun outdoors!
Duties include
Interact with 0-8 year olds with their caregivers in our outdoor learning garden.
Provide a safe and welcoming informal learning environment for 0-8 year olds and their caregivers.
Set up and clean up the garden space after the program (ie put toys back into shed and return materials to the front desk).
Assist in preparing, implementing, and engaging in the garden program.
Assist in keeping garden area clean, safe, and organized during the garden program.
Qualifications
Minimum age: 14 years.
First Aid/CPR certification preferred, not required.
Strong communication skills.
Responsibility, reliability, and commitment to the role.
Child-focused, team player, values driven, and positive role model.
Comfortable working outside.
