Love gardening and working with kids? Volunteer during our Garden Programs and help children and their families explore nature while learning about plants and the environment. Join us to make a positive impact and have fun outdoors!

Duties include

• Interact with 0-8 year olds with their caregivers in our outdoor learning garden.

• Provide a safe and welcoming informal learning environment for 0-8 year olds and their caregivers.

• Set up and clean up the garden space after the program (ie put toys back into shed and return materials to the front desk).

• Assist in preparing, implementing, and engaging in the garden program.

• Assist in keeping garden area clean, safe, and organized during the garden program.

Qualifications

• Minimum age: 14 years.

• First Aid/CPR certification preferred, not required.

• Strong communication skills.

• Responsibility, reliability, and commitment to the role.

• Child-focused, team player, values driven, and positive role model.

• Comfortable working outside.
