Mission Statement

The Union County Rape Crisis Center provides support services to victims of sexual violence over the age of 13 who were assaulted in, live in, or seek services in Union County.

Description

Services of the Union County Rape Crisis Center are available to victims and/or significant others of victims. Services include: a 24-hour hotline, accompaniment to hospitals/police stations during medical/legal proceedings, individual counseling in English and Spanish, professional consultation, in-service training, a prevention education program, and a resource center.

  • Driver's License Needed
  • Background Check
  • Must be at least 18
  • Orientation or Training
  • 40+ Hour Training. Once completed, we require 4 shifts per month (one being overnight) and one overnight on a weekend (Fri-Sun) for a minimum of one (1) year.
  • - Be a resident of Union County (or surrounding county) Personal (own) means of transportation (i.e. a car) Participation in an informal interview between 9 am - 4 pm, Monday - Friday Attendance at all training sessions
