Gesher Peace Initiative is looking for a passionate, dedicated and reliable volunteer interested in being part of an international effort to make real change in the lives of sexual violence survivors.

The purpose of this position is to head our social media department. For this dynamic role we are looking for someone who has experience with social media management, content creation, videography coordination, and website development. Ideally, this candidate will have a passion for digital communication, international relations, and sexual violence awareness.

Key Responsibilities:

Social Media Management

• Manage and grow our brand presence on Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn Twitter and Tiktok
• Develop and implement a social media content calendar
• Engage with followers and respond to comments and messages to create a vibrant online community
• Track and report on social media metrics and growth

Content Creation

• Create engaging written, visual, and video content for social media platforms that are aligned with our brand
• Create awareness and educational campaigns for social media platforms
• Design graphics and infographics for promotional materials and social media posts
• Write blog posts and articles for the website

Qualifications

• A strong interest in digital media and communications
• Demonstratable experience with social media growth, engagement, and knowledge of trends
