We are looking for volunteers to participate in our Dog for a Day Program! Are you wanting to foster or adopt but can't right now? We have the perfect opportunity for you! We have several dogs in the Nampa area who would love to spend a few hours with you. Going for rides or walks, hanging out at your house for the day- they just want to spend some time with you! Mission Statement

Our mission is to save those that are dumped out at Lake Lowell. We take the abandoned, sick, injured, and sad animals dumped to defend for themselves. Saving lives and giving voices to those who can not speak for themselves.

Description

We aim to get all animals in our care the medical attention, love, and care they need. We rehabilitate all those we can and try to place them in their new forever home. We have placed more than 200 animals into new and safe homes.

REQUIREMENTS

  • This is a Done in a Day opportunity and there is no prior training or ongoing commitment needed.
  • Driver's License Needed
  • Must be at least 18
  • This varies. Some people take them out for rides for an hour, some have them out for 6 or 7 hours
  • A vehicle that you can safely tether the dog for the ride (we can provide tethers) inside the vehicle, not in a truck bed.
