Compasus is looking for volutneers who are willing to model the Compassus values of Compassion Integrity, Excelllence, TeamWork , and Innovation and for promoting the Compassues philospohy using the 6 pillars of Success as the foundation. Volunteers are hospice-trained individuals from a professional or non professional background who provies non-medical support services to patients and families to the hospice staff and the organization The volunteer may choose the area in which they prefer to function and the hours they are willing to donate. All dusties and responsibilitties of volunteers require professionalism, sound judgment, and effective communication.

Opportunies to volunteer include:

Admiistrative Volunteers: provides assistance in the hospice office with hospice activities.

Bereavement Volunteers: provides support to bereavement clients und ethe direction of the Bereavement Coordindator and Volunteer Coordinator

Patient Care Volunteers: provides visits to support patients and families as outlined in the patients Plan of Care, including companionship, cargiver relief, running errands, and other duties as assisgned . Provies Angle/11th Hour support to patients and /or families as outlines in the Plan of Care, sitting beside the activel dying patients.
