Mission Statement

At I am Teen Strong, our sole purpose is to support the well-being of teen girls.

Description

The I am Teen Strong website and in-person workshops have been created to connect teen girls to the resources, tools, and education they need to develop a path for positive growth, discover their greatness within, and grow in resiliency, confidence, and mindfulness.

As teen girls struggle with their mental health more than boys, at I am Teen Strong, we envision a community where teen girls have the resources and support to become their authentic, confident, courageous selves-to be the heroes in their own stories of resilience and strength.

Our state-wide directory provides a single source of resources for families to quickly and seamlessly find positive solutions to teen-focused mental health (depression, anxiety, eating disorders, etc.) and social issues (bullying, pressure to be perfect, peer pressure, etc.).
