StrongHER TogetHER has a positive mental health initiative called LIV (Loving Inner Voice) / LOV (Loving Outer Voice). We have just finished a series of 3 workshops that focused on managing emotions with the Inside Out 2 movie as an overarching theme. This summer, the team will be working on a curriculum for LOV that focuses on managing toxic relationships / friendships / interactions among girls and women. The vision is that this would encompass 3-4 workshops that would take place in the Fall and possibly into the early part of 2026. We are hoping to bring on 2-3 additional folks to this leadership team as we are losing two to job relocations. Thanks so much for checking out what we're up to! PS we generally have planning zooms, but the workshops themselves are in person.

StrongHER TogetHER helps girls rise above stereotypes that alienate them from one another and instead grow up to be women who understand the power of their collective strength in the fight for equity.
Description
StrongHER TogetHER (ST) works to shift mindsets, elevate outcomes and advance social and individual awareness. Because we believe reliable and long-standing impact is achieved organically, capitalizing on time is a core strategy for our program. Girls are nominated to join ST as rising fifth graders and participate in ST programming for eight years, through high school graduation. This length of time allows the girls to fully embrace the notion of collective power, having experienced any number of consistent growth opportunities with the same group of girls. ST is also strategic and intentional in assembling these groups, all of which are comprised of students from various schools, backgrounds, cultures and socioeconomics. These differences, paired with the consistency and duration of our programming, encourages the girls to learn about one another and over time, recognize they are more similar than different and further, their differences are cause for celebration.
