**Commitment:** 5-10 hours per week | Flexible Schedule

**Description:**

The Black Tie Society Inc. is seeking a dynamic **Social Media Marketing Volunteer** to help promote our premier cultural events-including our flagship initiative, **The 92% Cookout**. This is a pivotal role for someone passionate about Black excellence, community engagement, and elevating minority-led movements through digital storytelling and strategic social media presence.

**Responsibilities:**

* Develop and implement engaging social media content for platforms including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and X

* Promote upcoming events like The 92% Cookout, Greek Swing Golf Tournament, and The Prestige Auto Affair

* Create and manage a content calendar to build anticipation and drive engagement

* Monitor analytics and adjust content strategies to increase reach and visibility

* Coordinate with our event team to ensure brand alignment

* Assist with live event coverage when possible (in-person or remote)

**Qualifications:**

* Experience in social media management, marketing, or branding (personal or professional)

* Strong copywriting and graphic creation skills

* Familiarity with content creation tools (Canva, Meta Business Suite, etc.)

* Ability to think culturally, act creatively, and work independently

* A deep appreciation for Black culture, entrepreneurship, and community empowerment
