The Forum for Youth Investment seeks a volunteer photographer to help capture powerful moments at the Building Ecosystems Statewide for Thriving (BEST) Youth Initiative Summer Summit, a cross-systems event focused on youth voice, lived experience, and community-driven solutions.

Your photos will help us tell the story of the convening, highlighting youth and adult changemakers, powerful dialogue, and moments of connection. These images will be used in digital communications, social media, and future promotional materials to elevate the initiative’s impact.

Responsibilities:

• Capture vibrant, high-quality photos throughout the day, including candid and posed shots of speakers, attendees, and interactive sessions.
• Provide photos that are naturally edited, preserving authentic colors and atmosphere.
• Highlight storytelling moments, small group discussions, and overall energy of the event.
• Provide a small selection of edited preview photos (5-7) each day during the event for day-of social media posting.
• Provide edited digital files (no watermark) within 7-10 days of the event.
• Work collaboratively with our team to ensure youth and adult participants are represented respectfully and authentically.
• Ensure respectful and inclusive representation of youth and adults from diverse backgrounds.

Qualifications:

• Experience in event photography or a strong photography portfolio
• Own equipment (camera, lenses, lighting preferred)
• Comfortable working in dynamic, people-centered environments
• Passion for youth development and community engagement is a plus!
