Help guide a low-income high school senior (who will be the first in their family to attend college) through the college application and financial aid process. These students don’t have parents who’ve gone through this journey and need support navigating it.
All mentoring is 100% virtual via Zoom.
Students are in the classroom; mentors join remotely.
What is the commitment?
Mentors and students join a 1 hr Zoom call led by Reach staff. The first 25 mins is training and the next 35 mins mentors work 1-on-1 with their student.

Mission Statement
Mentoring and funding low income students from high school through college to a 4 year degree by enlisting corporations, their employees and community members.
Description
We mentor low income first gen high school seniors through the college application process from Aug-May. All of our students are accepted to multiple 4 year universities and we help find funding. We then fund and mentor 20% through to a bachelors degree within 5 years.
We are a virtual program (on Zoom or Google Meet) and have mentoring slots on Wednesday and Friday mornings from 8:30-9:30am. You would select one session and have one student you would mentor for the school year. No experience necessary, we provide all the training each week.
We are recruiting currently for the 23-24 school year and this process will end mid August and are in need of volunteers ASAP. For more questions please email tom@thereachfoundation.net
