Strong Families is a program focused on families developing financial stability and ending generational poverty through education, skill and career development. The participants attend the classes while their children are cared for by licensed childcare providers. The children who are between the ages of 5 - 9 years old are provided literacy support. This happens through the ReadingPals program. Each week volunteers read a book with the children, discuss the book and then the child takes the book home for their library.

The program is Thursday evenings from 6 - 7:30 p.m. which includes dinner.

Free background screening is required.
