Treasurer of Nonprofit Organization Parents Deserve Success

We are currently seeking a qualified and dedicated individual to join our team as the Treasurer. The Treasurer will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the organization, managing budgets, financial planning, and reporting to the Board of Directors. This volunteer opportunity is located in the state of New Jersey, Camden County, and the ideal candidate will be located in New Jersey in order to meet with the Board of Directors at a future date.

Interviews will take place through Zoom.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and manage the organization's annual budget

- Monitor and track income and expenses

- Prepare financial reports for the Board of Directors

- Oversee financial transactions and ensure compliance with IRS regulations

- Work closely with the Executive Director and Finance Committee to develop financial strategies and goals

- Manage banking relationships and financial accounts

Qualifications:

-Passionate about the parents in the community and being part of the organization that assists them financially

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field

- 3+ years of experience in financial management

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite

- Experience working with nonprofit organizations is a plus
