Create content that connects refugee stories to the world

Creshendo’s Storytelling Project shares powerful narratives from migrants and refugees through animation, illustration, and creative media. We’re now building a social media presence that brings these stories to life in fresh, accessible ways across Instagram, TikTok, and beyond.

We’re looking for a Content Creator to help shape and produce engaging posts that bridge the gap between traditional storytelling and fast-moving digital communication. You’ll work closely with our storytelling and creative team to conceptualize, film, edit, and share content that resonates with diverse audiences, using hand-generated video, subtitles, audio, and visual storytelling techniques.

If you’re a creative thinker who loves experimenting with formats, trends, and stories that matter, this is a space to bring your voice and vision to meaningful global storytelling.

What you’ll do:

• Create original video content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and other platforms

• Add subtitles, music, and captions to enhance accessibility and engagement

• Help brainstorm and develop creative content ideas based on migrant and refugee stories

• Collaborate with the team to align posts with campaigns and upcoming story features

• Explore visual storytelling approaches that bring energy, clarity, and emotional connection to complex topics

• Adapt content across formats while maintaining consistency with Creshendo’s tone and mission

What we’re looking for:

• Experience creating content for Instagram, TikTok, or similar platforms

• Skills in filming, editing, and adding captions or subtitles to short-form videos

• Familiarity with tools like CapCut, Canva, InShot, or Adobe Creative Suite

• Strong sense of what makes content relatable and compelling to wide audiences

• Passion for storytelling, refugee justice, and making information more accessible

• Availability of 6 to 10 hours per week, remote and flexible
