Position Summary:

The Volunteer Program Manager will play a critical leadership role in supporting the mission of the Agape National Academy of Music (ANAM) by overseeing volunteer engagement, providing administrative support, and assisting with grant management activities. This position is ideal for a highly organized individual with strong leadership, communication, and project management skills who is passionate about nonprofit work and empowering youth through music and education.

• Lead the recruitment, onboarding, and retention of volunteers for ANAM Liberia and ANAM Georgia.

• Manage the volunteer database, track hours, assignments, and skillsets.

• Develop and implement volunteer training programs and resources.

• Assign volunteers to projects based on organizational needs and volunteer skills.

• Plan volunteer appreciation initiatives and coordinate recognition efforts.

• Assist with day-to-day administrative tasks, including scheduling meetings, maintaining organizational files, and preparing reports.

• Help manage internal communications and coordinate with program teams to streamline project workflows.

• Support the Executive Director with document preparation, meeting agendas, and follow-ups.

• Assist in managing ANAM’s grant calendar, including tracking deadlines, eligibility requirements, and submission statuses.

• Support the preparation and submission of grant proposals and reports.

• Help maintain the grant database and organize related documents.

• Collaborate with program leads to collect data and impact stories for reporting purposes.

• Strong organizational and time management skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

• Experience in volunteer coordination, grant support, or nonprofit administration preferred.

• Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects simultaneously.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and basic project management tools.

• Passion for ANAM’s mission to empower children and youth through music, literacy, and leadership development.
