Description

We are a 501c3 100% volunteer organization. We repurpose and recycle gently used flowers in the Greater Kansas City Metro Area. Flowers are generously donated from weddings, memorial services, charity, corporate and private events, florists, and retailers. Our volunteers recut, refresh, and reuse those flowers to create beautiful bouquets that we deliver to brighten someone's day. We work hand-in-hand with healthcare, hospice, senior resident, and social service communities throughout our city to touch people's lives.

Our Values

  • Health: Flowers positively affect the emotional well-being of the community we serve.
  • Generosity: Volunteers give time. Suppliers donate flowers. Donors provide funding and facilities.
  • Joy: Recipients are delighted when they receive a bouquet of flowers.
  • Accountability: Volunteers commit hours, show up and follow up. We carefully use our funds to complete our mission.
  • Creativity: Designing bouquets is the beginning of the personal connection with recipients.
  • Care: We care deeply for those we serve.
  • Education: Volunteers and members of the community learn floral design skills and recycling practices.
  • Respect for our Environment: We compost, recycle and repurpose flowers. We recycle, repurpose and reuse vases and supplies.
