Our next clean-up is happening this Saturday, MAY 10TH from 8:00am to 10:30am with the Hamilton Neighborhood Association.

Join us at 1060 E. 70th St in Long Beach, CA, for a neighborhood clean-up! We'll have trash pickers, safety vests, bags and gloves available for volunteers to support with litter pick-up in the surrounding area. All participants must sign safety waiver.

The Litter-Free Long Beach Program is designed to expand awareness on the impacts of litter, build community pride, as well as develop support and participation in keeping Long Beach Litter-Free. Litter is not just a local concern but a greater global issue. As a coastal city, we have a responsibility to safeguard our marine environment and lead the global wide effort towards a cleaner and safer future for all species. In Long Beach we appreciate every effort made towards keeping our city Litter-Free!

Mission Statement

The Litter-Free Long Beach Program is designed to expand awareness on the impacts of litter, build community pride, as well as develop support and participation in keeping Long Beach Litter-Free. In addition to creating safer and healthier neighborhoods, clearing our streets of litter also ensures our storm drains are free of debris and support a safe ocean ecosystem. Our campaign not only focuses on participating in clean-up events but also educates residents on the impacts of litter and how we can be a part of the solution for change. Litter is not just a local concern but a greater global issue. However, as a coastal city, we have a responsibility to safeguard our marine environment and lead the global wide effort towards a cleaner and safer future for all species. In Long Beach we appreciate every effort made towards keeping our city Litter-Free!
