Are you a student who loves leadership, creativity, and making a difference? Join the Girls Save The World Student Planning Team! As a planning team member, you'll help shape future events, provide feedback from a youth perspective, support communications, assist with logistics, and serve as a voice for your peers. This is a great opportunity to build leadership skills, earn volunteer hours, and play an active role in growing a movement that empowers girls to lead through STEAM and climate action. Open to middle and high school students who have participated in the program or are passionate about youth leadership and sustainability.

Independence Gardens is a parent-led non-profit organization founded in 2012. Our overall mission is to provide every child an actionable, impactful and engaging nutrition education programs. These meaningful and transformative education experience is accomplished by partnering with schools and the community in developing and implementing an edible gardening and experiential nutrition program that is Action based, Playful, Passionate, Leadership focused, and Engaging. Independence Gardens’ programs foster and develop in children life skills such as self-esteem, leadership, decision-making, nutrition, and love of community.
