ORGANIZATION: Burlingame Public Library - Burlingame Main Library

Burlingame Public Library

The Burlingame Public Library is looking for outgoing, active community members who can help us expand our outreach to diverse lingusitic communities. Ideally, we seek Spanish, Russian or Turkish speakers who can assist us in translating materials and distributing handouts throughout the Burlingame community.

Community Ambassadors will share information about our library services during their regular activities (talking to neighbors, attending community events, etc.). They will hand out informational flyers about our ongoing services while partaking in these activities. We seek people who enjoy connecting with others, speak one of the languages mentioned above, and are excited about help the library reach more people!

Libraries offer a variety of skilled volunteer opportunities to make a meaningful contribution to library programs, operations, fundraising events and other community engagement functions.
