We have numerous for you to get involved with the Alzheimer's Association!

Community Engagement Committee:

The Community Engagement Committee members are volunteers who serve under the direction of the Community Engagement Chair and work in conjunction with a staff lead to ensure Walk to End Alzheimer’s hits their team retention goals. This team is responsible for outreach such as: team recruitment and retention of friends & family, faith based, school,and other community org groups + grassroots marketing

Event Engagement Committee: The Event Engagement Committee members are volunteers who work with our Engagement Chair to ensure a smooth of event experience This team is responsible for mission engagement such as: year round champion stewardship, volunteer recruitment, and creating an exceptional event day experience for all participants and volunteers Start a Walk Team: You can register your team by using this link- alz.org/eastbaywalk Day of Event Volunteer: As a day-of-event volunteer, you’ll help make Walk to End Alzheimer’s a successful, meaningful community event that moves us closer to a future without Alzheimer’s and all other dementia. We have a variety of tasks that need to be done on the day of the walk.

Description

We need your help to end Alzheimer's disease! Our volunteers are passionate, inspired, and want to make a difference in the fight against Alzheimer's disease. Whether you can spare a few hours a week or can make a more significant time commitment, please consider becoming an Alzheimer's Association volunteer.There are many ways in which to get involved at the Alzheimer's Association, including office assistance, fundraising events and event committees, advocacy, community outreach, and programs, including Helpline and Support Group Facilitator positions. If you are an individual (teen, adult, or senior) or part of a family, team, group of employees or company, please feel free to contact us to discuss our volunteer opportunities further and next steps to get involved.
