Responsibilities
- Mow and trim lawns around SVT's headquarters at Wolbach Farm in Sudbury.
- Ability to perform manual labor and basic mechanical aptitude
- Ability to work independently outdoors
- Capacity to use a riding 54" John Deere lawn mower and gas-powered weed wacker.
- Training Provided: Orientation on use of the mower and weed wacker as well as the areas needing mowing.
- Hours: Flexible, dependent on availability. 2-3 hours per week during growing season (May-Sept), less frequent in early and late mowing season
- Duration: Seasonal (Spring, Summer, Fall).
- Location: Wolbach Farm, Sudbury
- Reports to: Facilities Maintenance Manager

Description
Sudbury Valley Trustees (SVT) is a regional land trust, founded in 1953. SVT is dedicated to conserving land and protecting wildlife habitat in the Concord, Assabet and Sudbury river basin. This is one of the most scenic, culturally rich, and historically significant regions in the United States. Today, approximately 3,100 members support SVT’s work in 36 different towns in the watershed.
SVT is responsible for the protection and care of diverse conservation lands that include wetlands, sensitive habitats, trails and other open spaces including major sanctuaries. SVT reservations are open to the public free of charge, and include trails for walking, bird watching, cross-country skiing and horseback riding.
