Volunteer Event Planner
Seeking a person willing to volunteer and help our small international organization raise funds to help indigenous villagers obtain tools that provide clean water, and improve health and quality of life issues.
Need someone to help plan and execute one or two creative fundraising events this year.
- Previous internship or volunteer experience in fundraising, nonprofit organizations, or event planning preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
Collaborate with the fundraising lead person to create engaging marketing materials and communications for campaigns.
- Conduct research to identify potential fundraising opportunities and prospective donors.
- Help coordinate logistics for fundraising events, including venue selection, catering, and volunteer management.
- Experience with marketing the event via email, press releases, social media platforms and online fundraising tools.
Seeking someone to help who is passionate about making a difference and supporting the mission of Village Care Project.

The Village Care Project mission is to help indigenous villagers of the world obtain clean water and mosquito nets that help them have better health, happiness and productivity.
Description
We are currently focused on helping people obtain, use and maintain clean water filters to semi nomadic indigenous semi nomadic village people in South America and Africa.
We are also providing malaria bed nets to help curb the dangerous disease carried by mosquitoes.
Plus, we take waterproof tarps to help villagers waterproof their mud thatch homes during the rainy seasons.
