Volunteer with Streets Are For Everyone in Griffith Park to help make their Finish the Ride event a huge success!

Why: Your help is so important to advancing our mission of ending hit-and-run crimes and making our streets safer. It will also give our participants a fantastic experience as they run or cycle along the scenic back trails of Griffith Park.

Who: Streets Are For Everyone (SAFE) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization founded in January 2014 that aims to improve the quality of life for pedestrians, bicyclists, and drivers alike by reducing traffic fatalities to zero.

What to Expect:

We are looking for a wide variety of volunteers for Finish the Ride from May 29th - June 2nd 2025. We need Ride Marshals, Route Markers, Expo help, Medal and t-shirt distribution, snack and water distribution, raffle ticket and merchandise sales, help in the beer garden, registration and clean-up.

What's Required:

Show up at least 15 minutes before your scheduled time to account for parking and walking to volunteer check-in. Let the Volunteer Coordinator know beforehand about any difficulties with your shift times.

Please keep in mind that this type of event is always evolving. Volunteer needs can change at a minute's notice and you may be needed for different volunteer functions.

Learn your volunteer function well, ask questions, and do a good job.

Stay in communication with the person in charge of your area. Check out with the Volunteer Coordinator when you leave.

Be helpful to the participants at all times. Go out of your way to ask if someone needs help and help them.

If a participant has a question you don't know how to answer, help them find someone who knows the answer.

Stay hydrated and wear clothing appropriate to the weather.

Most importantly -- HAVE FUN!! :) Happiness is contagious; help spread good vibes to others.
