A Mentor (Volunteer) is responsible for providing guidance, support and advice to individuals who are seeking personal or professional development. They serve as role models and confidants, offering their expertise and experience to help mentees navigate challenges, set goals and achieve success. Mentors work closely with their mentees to identify strengths and areas for improvement, develop action plans and track progress toward achieving objectives. They play a crucial role in empowering others to reach their full potential and make positive changes in their lives. This position requires strong communication skills, empathy, patience and a genuine desire to help others succeed.

Who we mainly serve:

• Teenagers and young adults ages 16-21,
• Adults in career transition,
• Military transitioning into civilian jobs
• All those who want to manage their Career.

We provide a safe space for mentor and mentee to meet once or several times.

Key responsibilities include:

• Provide guidance and support to mentees.
• Share knowledge and expertise in a specific field.
• Listen actively and offer constructive feedback.
• Help mentees set goals and create action plans.

Main topics:

• Launch career for the first time (internship, entry-level job, help with career exploration),
• Help them reach career and income goals (related to upskilling and reskilling),
• Help them match with jobs as soon as possible (discovering skills, interview preparation, offer negotiation skills, anything related to their job cycle),

We work to connect mentors with mentees in all areas of interest, but today especially in:

• Healthcare, hospitals and medical services.
• Art and design.
• Customer services.
• Health, wellness and fitness.
• Marketing and advertising.
• Gaming and video games.
• Human Resources.
• Entertainment.
• Information Technology.
• Management.
