Join us as we celebrate National River Cleanup Day 2025! Whether you’re an experienced volunteer or new to community conservation efforts, we welcome your participation in protecting our local waterways and creating lasting environmental impact.

Event Details:

• Volunteer Start Time: 8:00 AM
• Actual Event Time (Cleanup): 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM
• Volunteer End Time: 12:15 PM
• Meeting & Parking Location: 785 Fuller Avenue, San Jose, CA 95125 (Meet at trail entrance at footbridge)
• Program: National River Cleanup Day 2025!

Volunteer Role:
For these events, we’re looking for volunteers to arrive an hour early. You’ll help us set up two tables, put on tablecloths, assist with sign-ins, and pass out gloves, pickup sticks, trash bags, snacks, and drinks. During the cleanup, you'll be responsible for monitoring the tail end of the group to ensure everyone’s safe and that no one gets left behind. No prior experience is needed for general volunteer roles.

Additional Information:

• Number of Participants: 20-30
• Length of Hike: 2.0 miles
• Lunch: Not included, but refreshments such as water and snacks will be available.
• Equipment: All necessary supplies will be provided.
