Avenidas is hosting it's annual Lifetimes of Achievement garden party fundraising event in Palo Alto on Sunday, May 18th, to honor local seniors who've given to their community throughout their lifetime. It is a fun event and a great volunteer opportunity! We welcome individuals or groups!
The event set up will be between 10am-3pm
The event itself will be from 3-5pm
Clean up will be from 5-6pm
We would love to have help during any of those time or for the whole day. For students, we can approve hours and/or write a letter of recommendation. Students 16 and up are welcome and we encourage older adults to volunteer as well!

REQUIREMENTS
- This is a Done in a Day opportunity and there is no prior training or ongoing commitment needed.
- Must be at least 16
- You can volunteer for the whole day from 10am-6pm or for shifts of 10am-2pm or 2pm-6pm
- Dress is comfortable but professional. It is a garden party but you may need to walk a lot so wear comfortable shoes. Should be comfortable with some physical work and talking with people.
