Social Media Engagement Specialist Summary
The Social Media Engagement Specialist plays a vital role in fostering a dynamic and interactive online presence for the IAABC Foundation. This volunteer position focuses on real-time engagement with our community across various social media platforms, enhancing relationships with followers, and amplifying our mission through authentic interactions.
Key Responsibilities
- **Community Engagement:** Actively monitor and respond to comments, messages, and mentions on IAABC Foundation's social media channels to foster community interaction.
- **Content Creation:** Develop and post engaging content, including stories and live updates, that reflect the Foundation's values and initiatives.
- **Collaboration:** Work closely with the Social Media Manager to align engagement strategies with scheduled campaigns and content calendars.
- **Trend Monitoring:** Stay informed about current social media trends and suggest innovative ways to engage our audience.
- **Event Support:** Assist in live coverage of IAABC Foundation events, including real-time posting and audience interaction.
Job Requirements - Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
- Experience with social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Threads, BlueSky, and LinkedIn.
- Strong communication skills and a passion for community building.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a remote team.
- Familiarity with the IAABC Foundation's mission and programs is a plus.
