Join the EcoServants Community Engagement Intern Program and become a leader in environmental action! This remote/hybrid internship gives you the opportunity to plan real-world cleanups, coordinate volunteers, and build skills in community organizing, outreach, and environmental reporting.
As an intern, you’ll follow a structured 4-month SMART Goal roadmap:
Month 1: Plan a Cleanup
Research, assess, and develop a detailed Cleanup Action Plan, including site selection and permissions.Month 2: Recruit Volunteers
Launch a digital outreach strategy and aim to recruit at least 50 volunteers using social media and community channels.Month 3: Execute & Track Impact
Organize and lead a successful cleanup, then track and report the results using our Community Site Reports (CSR).Month 4: Publish & Share Your Impact
Write and publish a blog on our EcoBlogs platform highlighting your journey, photos, and environmental impact.
Key Responsibilities:
Organize and execute community environmental events
Mobilize and manage volunteers
Coordinate logistics for cleanups and workshops
Collect data and feedback to measure community impact
Promote environmental advocacy through blog posts and digital storytelling
Ideal Candidate:
Passionate about sustainability and community service
Strong communication and time management skills
Able to collaborate in a remote team setting
Willing to occasionally assist with weekend events (flexible)
