Ignite This Ish is a growing nonprofit dedicated to creating accessible, inclusive, and equity-centered digital solutions for marginalized communities. We’re in an exciting stage of growth and are building a core team of passionate volunteers to help shape our future.

We're looking for a Volunteer Coordinator who believes in tech equity and wants to play a key role in building a values-driven organization from the ground up. If you're a people person, organized, and passionate about fostering community, we’d love to connect.

What You’ll Do

  • Help manage and grow our volunteer team

  • Schedule and host onboarding calls with new volunteers

  • Track engagement and help create a meaningful volunteer experience

  • Coordinate between project leads and volunteers to ensure smooth communication

  • Assist with outreach and promotion of new volunteer opportunities

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong communication and organizational skills

  • Passion for equity, tech access, and social justice

  • Experience in volunteer management or people operations (a plus, not required)

  • Excitement about working with a small and collaborative team

This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to gain leadership experience, help shape internal systems, and be part of something meaningful from the beginning.
