Ignite This Ish is a growing nonprofit committed to advancing tech equity and digital empowerment for marginalized communities. We're in an exciting stage of growth and are looking for mission-driven individuals ready to step into key roles that will shape our future.
We're currently seeking a Fundraising/Sponsorship Coordinator to help craft and implement our sponsorship strategy. Your work will directly support programs like our Design Equity Lab, which provides youth with hands-on UX design training, as well as our research and knowledge-sharing efforts that center community voice and make complex topics accessible and empowering.
We regularly create educational tools and visual storytelling content that helps marginalized communities engage with technology in meaningful ways. Your support will help us amplify these efforts and build sustainable relationships with partners who believe in this work.
What you'll do
* Identify potential sponsors and aligned funding partners
* Create sponsorship outreach materials and pitch decks
* Manage communications and relationships with sponsors
* Collaborate with leadership to shape our funding strategy
* Help us tell our story and build excitement around our mission

Mission Statement

Description
We are a group of tech and design professionals across various industries who aim to use our expertise to solve social issues.
Our current project involves tackling swim disparity and closing the swim equity gap through awareness, collaboration with related brands, and sponsoring programs.
One program that we are currently sponsoring is a swim retreat for Women of Color aged 55+ who are non-swimmers.
